Organic Trevarno Skincare was founded in 1998 with a passion for creating high-quality organic skincare products. Our journey began on the beautiful Trevarno country estate in the south of Cornwall, where the celebrated gardens provided daily inspiration for a skincare philosophy rooted in simplicity, purity and care for the land. OUR VALUES
At Organic Trevarno, organic is not a trend - it is a commitment. We are proud to be the first beauty company to meet the rigorous standards of Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) and gain formal organic certification. As Britain’s longest established organic certifying body, OF&G provides independent assurance that our products are genuinely organic, ethically produced and environmentally responsible.

WHY ORGANIC?
Quite simply, because it is better for us, our families and the planet.
Over the past decade, many of us have changed the way we live – recycling more, reducing waste, using energy efficient solutions and becoming increasingly aware of our carbon footprint. As our awareness has grown, so has our understanding of what we consume and what we put on our skin every day.
The organic movement has been fuelled by growing concern about environmental damage, water pollution and the widespread use of pesticides and chemicals in conventional farming. By choosing organic, we actively support more ecological farming practices that work with nature rather than against it.
Our skin is our largest organ. We believe it deserves the same care and consideration as the food we eat.
Independent certification offers clarity, transparency and confidence for our customers. Our products are officially certified by Organic Farmers & Growers Ltd (OF&G), whose inspection and licensing standards are based on EU Organic Regulation (EC 834/2007) and Nordic Eco labelling principles.
Organic Trevarno formulations contain a minimum of 95% organic ingredients, all traceable to source. We continually seek out the finest organic botanicals to create naturally high performance products, without the use of parabens, detergents, phthalates, synthetic fragrance oils or artificial colours. Our commitment supports sustainable farming practices and helps protect the health of soil, waterways and ecosystems.

OUR STANDARDS & COSMETIC REGULATIONS
All Organic Trevarno products fully comply with current European cosmetic legislation (EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009). Every formulation is independently assessed and certified safe by a qualified chemist or pharmacist, and all products are clearly labelled with full ingredient listings, volume or weight, and batch traceability.
Since July 2013, all cosmetic products must also be notified on the European Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). Organic Trevarno meets and exceeds all of these regulatory requirements, ensuring safety, transparency and accountability across our entire range.
NO ANIMAL TESTING
We believe that animal testing is cruel, unnecessary and unacceptable. Organic Trevarno does not use animal derivatives in any of our products, and our products are not, and have never been, tested on animals. Our cruelty free ethos is fundamental to who we are and how we work.
OUR SOAPS
Traditional soap making, a time honoured craft long associated with privately owned estates, was where it all started. Using natural ingredients and age old techniques, our early soaps quickly gained a loyal following. As their popularity grew, so too did our vision, and the range naturally evolved into a complete collection of organic skincare.
Our much loved organic soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold process method. Each bar is made with sustainably sourced olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, blended with herbs and pure essential oils.
All Organic Trevarno soaps are palm oil free, contain no animal fats and are vegetarian, with most formulations also suitable for vegans. Gentle, nourishing and long lasting, they embody our belief in simple skincare that truly works.
