We have a delightful selection of both natural & organic soaps, made with plant oils & produced using a ‘cold’ process where all the natural glycerine remains in the soap. To ensure that our soaps are the purest & most natural available we do not use detergents, stabilisers, preservatives or E numbers. Herbs are infused into oils for their skincare properties & this also gives natural shades to the soaps. We do not use any artificial colourings, colours are introduced by using vibrant herbs & spices.

The removal of the nasty ingredients does not affect the performance – our soaps will gently but effectively cleanse with natural moisturising & improved skin care qualities. They produce a rich, creamy lather & they also stay as a hard bar with careful usage..

The ingredients used to make the base of our soaps are olive oil, sustainable palm oil, coconut oil & cocoa butter. All palm oil used in Trevarno products has been purchased from sustainable sources & we passionately believe in the protection of the rain forests & the natural habitat of the people & animals indigenous to this area.

However we are working on a new formulation that will exclude palm oil, as can be seen with our Eden Soap Deli project, and these will be ready to buy soon.

There are a number of the soaps that are excellent for use on the face as well as the body, as our soaps do not contain chemicals or detergents, leaving the skin feeling soft & clean.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Soap Deli, exclusively at The Eden Project where a selection of Trevarno soaps is available within the new Link Trading Post between the biomes.

Over the last year, we have been working very closely with the team at Eden to create a unique concept that would help inform customers about the manufacture and content of soap, and as part of the close collaboration, the soaps at Eden have also been carefully reformulated to exclude all palm oil as part of Eden’s new no-palm-oil policy across all products sold there

Although we only ever use sustainable palm oil within our standard soap range & are particularly careful about its provenance, we are pleased to tell you that we will be phasing it out of all our soaps within the next few months.
